A current extract shows the company’s status at the moment of the request. A full extract includes the entire company history from the moment of registration, including all changes that have ever been made.

What information is available in the National Court Register?

The National Court Register (KRS) contains comprehensive information about the legal status of a company or organization. From the extract, you can find the legal form in which the entity is registered (for example, a limited liability company, joint-stock company, general partnership, or public benefit organization), who is authorized to represent the company, as well as key financial and legal data.

The document is divided into several main sections:

  • Section 1 — Basic entity data: full name, registered address, KRS number, REGON, NIP, date of registration, and legal form.
  • Section 2 — Representation of the entity: indicates who is authorized to sign documents on behalf of the company (e.g., president, management board members, proxies), their powers, and mode of representation.
  • Section 3 — Scope of activity (PKD codes), as well as information on financial statements and filing deadlines.
  • Section 4 — Treasury-related information: data on tax arrears, social security contribution debts, current losses, court cases against the company, and information on asset security measures.
  • Section 5 — Information on the appointment of a court supervisor (if applicable).
  • Section 6 — Information on liquidation, bankruptcy, or initiation of proceedings concerning the company.

An extract from the National Court Register (KRS) is an official document issued by the Polish Ministry of Justice that contains detailed information about a company, including its KRS number, full legal name, registered address, scope of activity, details of the management board, and other important data.

To submit a request for an extract, certain personal data must be provided. All submitted information is processed exclusively in accordance with the privacy policy and RODO (GDPR) requirements.
